Riding Lessons & Program
Beginner to Advanced Riding Lessons
- Lesson Fees: $85 per lesson or five (5) lessons for $400
- Length: 30-60 minutes, depending on number of riders; Lessons are limited to four (4) riders.
- Instructor/Trainer: Ashley Stannard, Hannah Podgorski, Jessica Rothe
- Location: Royal Star Equestrian Center
- Horse: Ideal for riders who do not own or lease

For beginners, we provide expert instruction in foundational hunter-jumper skills, covering essential techniques such as proper position, balance, and control. Our experienced instructors guide riders through structured lessons designed to build confidence and proficiency in the saddle, laying a solid groundwork for future progress.
We prioritize fundamental skills and safety in our hunter-jumper training program. We focus on proper rider position and balance for stability and control which are essential for proper flatwork and jumping. We emphasize horse care practices, arena safety, and etiquette, ensuring a supportive learning environment. As students progress, we introduce them to jumping, starting with ground poles and advancing to small jumps, while also focusing on building confidence through positive reinforcement and encouragement.
Our program offers specialized training tailored to your individual goals and aspirations. Whether aspiring to compete at local shows or aiming for national recognition, our dedicated team of trainers provides personalized instruction to help riders refine their technique, navigate challenging courses, and excel in competitive arenas.
